Classic Kong® toy for dogs

A very bouncy red toy shaped like a pear made of natural rubber that dogs love to chew and in which we can hide dry food or treats attainable by an opening situated at one of the extremities of the toy.

Used to:

Entertain dogs: the toy bounces in an unpredictable manner;

Reward good behavior;

Increase activity in overweight dogs;

Prevent and control problems related to stress and boredom (ex: separation anxiety, lack of mental stimulation);

Reduce behavioral problems related to a lack of activity.

To avoid excessive weight gain, if the Kong® is used to hide food, the amount of this food should not exceed the daily caloric requirements of the dog. We must also take into account the amount of food that the dog eats in a bowl.

The treats should not replace the basic diet of the dog. They should never exceed more than 10% of his daily caloric needs. We must always take into account the number of kcal provided by treats in the calculation of his daily caloric needs in addition to the number of kcal provided by his basic diet.

Remove all the treats, cookies or dry food from the toy and rinse it with hot water. Do not use soapy water because the soapy residue may change the taste of the toy and treats.
