Dental prophalaxis

By the time your animal gets out of the hospital, you become entirely responsible of it.

We suggest you to follow those recommendations to ensure your pet a normal healing and then prevent any complications.

1) Keep an eye on its appetite, urine and stool production.

2) Your pet gums may be a little sensitive at the beginning. Give him some wet food for a few days.

3) An antibiotic has been prescribed to your pet. Make sure to administrate it in accordance to the written dosage on the label. Ideally, give the pills 15 to 20 minutes after a meal.

Your pet’s mouth has never been cleaner, so keep it that way! Consult a technician about dental cares that you should provide to your animal (t/d food, teeth brushing, enzymatic gel, enzymatic treats, oral cleaning solution…)

After an anesthetic procedure, your pet may be a little less playful and seem more tired as usual. Don’t worry yourself too much, its comportment will quickly come back normal.

Anesthetics drugs can cause constipation to some patients. This phenomenon is not a concern if it doesn’t last more then two days.

If you have any questions about your pet convalescence, don’t hesitate to contact us. A technician will be pleased to inform you.
