Color Standards: All shades of cream and gold. Red, red or mahogany are not accepted colors.

Origin and history: Cross between a flat-coated retriever and a water spaniel, with subsequent introduction of Irish setter, labrador, and St-Hubert

Personality: sensitive, soft, resistant, vigorous, active, player. Not a good guard dog, but is a good swimmer.

Known health problem: Obesity, eye and skin disorders, cataracts
