Origin and History: It is said that this dog was offered by Buddhist monks to nomadic tribes as a lucky charm. It was introduced to the West in 1930.

Personality: They are very affectionate, easily trained and require little exercise. On the other hand, they are uncertain to strangers and give voice to the slightest provocation.
