Active ingredients :

  • Gentamicin
  • Betamethasone
  • Clotrimazole 

Drug description:

Gentamicin is an antibiotic belonging to the class of aminoglycosides.

Betamethasone is a glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory effects.

Clotrimazole is an antifungal belonging to the imidazole family.

Indications :

This product is used in dogs to treat bacterial and/or fungal ear infections.

Contraindications :

Do not use this medication, unless told otherwise by a veterinarian, in animals allergic to another antibiotic belonging to the class of aminoglycosides or if their eardrums are perforated.

Side effects : 

Deafness or hearing loss may occur even when the eardrum is intact. This effect is, however, usually temporary.

Recommended monitoring :

Make sure the animal does not suffer from any side effects.

A veterinarian must also verify that the infection is cured before the treatment is stopped.

Storage : 

At room temperature. Excess heat or cold should be avoided.

Warning :

Shake the bottle before applying the product in the ear canals. Then massage them gently to spread the ointment.

Wash your hands afterwards.

Keep the bottle out of reach of children and animals.

If the animal's head becomes tilted or he starts to lose his balance during treatment, stop it and contact a veterinarian as soon as possible.
