Dibenzyline® (phenoxybenzamine)

Alpha-adrenergic receptor inhibitor.

10 mg capsules

Used to reduce sphincter contraction of the urethra or to treat hypertension.                  

Hypotension, glaucoma or diabetes mellitus (sugar). 

Use with caution in heart disease, kidney damage, or cerebral or coronary arteriosclerosis.

Hypotension followed by reflex hypertension, constriction of pupils, decrease of intraocular pressure, tachycardia, inhibition of ejaculation, nasal congestion, weakness / vertigo and gastrointestinal effects.

Make sure the animal is urinating normally.

Monitor the blood pressure.

Epinephrine, phenylephrine , reserpine
