This product is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has an anticoagulant effect.
This product is sometimes used in dogs and cats for its anticoagulant effect.
Unless otherwise advised by a veterinarian, do not use in pets that have previously reacted poorly to Aspirin®.
It should not be used in animals that have stomach or small bowel ulcers, are bleeding, have asthma, or suffer from kidney failure.
The most common side effects are digestive disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite.
It is recommended to check the pet's coagulation factors regularly. The frequency of monitoring will be determined by the veterinarian in charge of the animal.
Interactions with other drugs:
Aspirin® may interfere with the effectiveness of some other drugs if used at the same time. You can ask your veterinarian which ones.
Please inform the veterinarian if your pet is already taking any drug(s) before starting treatment with Aspirin®. This will allow him or her to make sure that they are compatible.
Keep dry at room temperature.
Contact a veterinarian as soon as possible if the animal is bleeding, vomiting, eats less or has diarrhea.
