SATIETY Treats

Treats designed for dogs with a tendency to obesity and those suffering from excess weight in addition to a weight loss program. The low caloric content of treats promotes healthy weight loss. 

These treats have the S/O rating which indicates that the product reduces the risk of formation of struvite and calcium oxalate urinary crystals and stones.

Used, in addition to their basic diet, to help promote a healthy weight loss in overweight dogs. Also helps prevent dogs from getting back the weight they lost.  

Maximum number of treats per day relative to the dog's weight:

To lose weight:

• 11 lbs (5 kg) = 6 treats;
• 22 lbs (10 kg) = 10 treats;
• 33,1 lbs (15 kg) = 14 treats;
• 44,1 lbs (20 kg) = 17 treats;
• 66,1 lbs (30 kg) = 24 treats;
• 88,2 lbs (40 kg) = 29 treats.

To maintain the weight:

• 11 lbs (5 kg) = 6 treats;
• 22 lbs (10 kg) = 10 treats;
• 33,1 lbs (15 kg) = 14 treats;
• 44,1 lbs (20 kg) = 17 treats;
• 66,1 lbs (30 kg) = 24 treats;
• 88,2 lbs (40 kg) = 29 treats.

These treats are not recommended for dogs with advanced kidney disease, a lot of proteins in their urine and liver failure. 

Treats should not replace the dog's basic diet. They should never exceed more than 10% of its daily caloric needs.

To avoid excessive weight gain, always take into account the number of Kcal provided by the treats when calculating its daily caloric requirements, in addition to the number of Kcal provided by its basic diet.

Keep the bag out of the reach of children and animals to prevent choking hazard. 

Although the product has the S/O rating, it is not appropriate to use it while the animal has struvite or calcium oxalate stones.
