URINARY Dog Treats

Treats designed for dogs suffering from or having suffered from lower urinary tract disease. They help to reduce the risk of struvite and calcium oxalate urinary crystals formation.

Their low calorie content helps maintain an ideal body weight.

Indications

Used in dogs, in addition to their basic diet, to promote the dissolution of struvite crystals and stones.

They are also given to dogs to prevent the formation of crystals and stones made of struvite, calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate.

Posology

Maximum number of treats recommended per day based on the dog's ideal body weight: 

  • 11 lbs (5 kg) = 5 treats; 
  • 22 lbs (10 kg) = 8 treats; 
  • 33.1 lbs (15 kg) = 10 treats; 
  • 44.1 lbs (20 kg) = 13 treats; 
  • 66.1 lbs (30 kg) = 17 treats; 
  • 88.2 lbs (40 kg) = 21 treats.

Caution

These treats are not recommended for dogs with heart or liver failure. 

Treats should not replace the dog's basic diet. They should never exceed more than 10% of their daily caloric needs.

To avoid excessive weight gain, always take into account the number of Kcal provided by the treats in calculating their daily caloric requirements in addition to the number of Kcal provided by their basic diet.

Keep the bag out of the reach of children and animals to prevent choking hazard.
