Dr. Émilie Piché-Rondeau DMV

Dr. Piché-Rondeau DMV has been co-owner of À Mon Chat, À Mon Chien, Hôpital Vétérinaire Inc. since 2014.
She was previously employed at Hôpital Vétérinaire de l’Est Inc. after having obtained her doctorate in veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2006.
After several years of complicity with the owners of Clinique Vétérinaire À Mon Chat, Drs. Laure Cosimano DMV and Michel Cosimano DMV, Dr. Piché-Rondeau decided to dive into entrepreneurship and became a partner, all the while continuing to provide veterinary services to companion animals.
She is also a minority shareholder of Clinique Vétérinaire Au Pied du Mont Inc. since its opening in september of 2017.
She is particularly interested in preventive medicine, reproduction, and physiotherapy for pets. She even trained in physiotherapy in Tennessee back in 2009 to perfect her knowledge and skills in this field.
She has adopted three pets from the HVE Foundation. These include her two cats, Hubert and Alice, and her small dog Violette, with whom she is never away from for too long. Violette has actually become the establisgment's mascot.
Dre Steffi Bélanger DMV
Dr. Bélanger graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at UdeM in 2019. After working in the regions, she moved to the South Shore and has been practicing for the MonVet group since the summer of 2021. Her fields of interest are preventive medicine and internal medicine. His daily life is punctuated with touching moments thanks to three ginger cats: Louis the big cat, Vincent the clumsy and Ronald Weasley the greedy.
Dr. Isabelle Lacombe DMV, AVSI in equine medicine
It's in 1997 that Dr. Lacombe graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal. Thereafter, she completed an Internship in Applied Veterinary Sciences (AVSI) in equine medicine in 1998 at the same institution.
After a year of mixed practice with companion animals and horses, Dr. Lacombe continued to practice with companion animals only.
In 2005, she began to work at Clinique Vétérinaire À Mon Chat and at Hôpital Vétérinaire de l'Est and, later in 2012, also at Hôpital Vétérinaire du Richelieu Inc.
In november of 2014, she temporarily left her job to accept the position of interim coordinator of the professional supervision service at the Quebec Veterinary Medical Association. Since her return in 2015, she is in charge of medical and administrative affairs of the MONVET Veterinary Group Inc.
When she works « on the floor », Dre Lacombe is interested particularly in internal medicine. Her companion in life is a Siamese cat named Dale.
Dr German Ferrer, DMV
Dr. Ferrer obtained his veterinary medicine doctorate from University La Salle in Bogota, Colombia, in 1996.
Five years later, he immigrated to Canada et received additional training at University of Montreal to earn the right to practice in Quebec.
In 2007, he graduated a second time in veterinary medicine. The following year, he completed an Applied Veterinary Sciences Internship (AVSI) in companion animal medicine at the same institution.
In 2010, he got trained in veterinary physiotherapy at University of Tennessee.
Dr. Ferrer worked a first time for Groupe vétérinaire Monvet inc. from 2012 to 2014, and came back in November 2017. He practices mainly at Hôpital vétérinaire du Richelieu inc., but also at Hôpital vétérinaire de l'Est inc., at À Mon Chat, À Mon Chien, Hôpital vétérinaire inc. and at Clinique vétérinaire Au Pied du Mont inc. Dr. Ferrer has a keen interest for surgery.
He lives with Laska, an Highland Lynx breed cat that he adopted from Fondation HVE.
Dr Michelle Paya DMV
Dr. Gagnon became a veterinarian in 2018 when he graduated from the University of Montreal. Being specially interested by researche, he collaborated in many projects relating to pain and arthrosis in companion animals.
Dr. Paya obtained her doctorate in veterinary medicine in the spring of 2021. Working within the MonVet group since 2019 during her studies, she decided to join the team as a veterinarian. She is particularly fond of preventive medicine and neurology. She shares her life with her 3 cats (Elly, Paris and Rattle) and her 2 dogs (Jessie James and Lila). Her family is often supplemented with cats or dogs in temporary homes.
