Marianne Harton, Animal Health Technician student

In 2021, Marianne will graduate from Cegep of St-Hyacinthe in animal health technique. Before that, she received her college diploma in human sciences and administration from Cegep of Valleyfield in 2016 after studying 1 year at Sherbrooke University in communications.

Since november 2018, she works part time for Groupe vétérinaire Monvet inc., mainly at À Mon Chat, À Mon Chien, Hôpital vétérinaire inc. and at Clinique vétérinaire Au Pied du Mont inc. 

Her responsibilities include assisting her colleagues with animal restraint and care, sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments, customer service, data entry in the record keeping software, etc.

Marianne has a keen interest in animal behavior and nutrition, two fields in which she intends to get more training after she graduates. She also very much likes interacting with clients.

She lives with 3 dogs, all of them French Bulldogs, named Norman, Millie and Walter. She also lives with two domestic cats named Lora and Bagheera.
