Consultation
Disease prevention is at the heart of our concerns.
In order to ensure the best possible health for your pet and to detect small changes in its physical condition which can often be corrected before they become real problems, we recommend that you visit your pet’s veterinarian at least once a year.
In particular, for animals over 7 years old, visits should be spaced 6 months apart and a blood test should be carried out at the same time to check the condition of its internal organs and possibly identify certain diseases common in older animals.
We therefore invite you to contact us to obtain an appointment with a veterinarian. Our animal health technicians will also be able to provide you with information on all sorts of topics concerning your animal’s well-being.
Preventive veterinary medicine
Two important ways we have at our disposal to prevent disease in animals are vaccination and deworming. In fact, this is all the more important since many of these diseases are transmissible to humans!
Vaccination is the process of protecting your pet against several viral and bacterial diseases. After an initial series of vaccinations, boosters are given at regular intervals throughout the pet's life.
Deworming involves preventing and treating internal and external parasites such as intestinal worms, heartworms, fleas, ticks, and ear and body mites.
In order to establish a vaccination and deworming program adapted to your animal’s lifestyle, we invite you to make an appointment with one of our veterinarians. So not only will your pet be well protected, but you will be too!
Food
Foods and weight loss program.
Just like humans, eating healthy, exercising daily and maintaining a healthy weight are very important to staying healthy. The same goes for animals.
As an animal health professional, your veterinarian is in a good position to advise you on the food best suited to your pet’s needs based on their age, physical condition and lifestyle.
Your partner has a few extra pounds! Never mind! Make an appointment with one of our animal health technicians. They will be able to establish a personalized weight loss program that takes into account not only their excess weight but also their body shape.
