Form
Diphenhydramine: a treatment for animal allergic reactions, such as itching or swelling. It can also prevent motion sickness and act as an antiemetic. However, it must be administered with caution, especially in animals with glaucoma, obstructions, or cardiovascular diseases. Common side effects include drowsiness, lethargy, and dry mouth. Always consult your veterinarian before starting this treatment, especially if your pet is taking other medications. Available in tablet and injectable forms, it should be stored between 15-30°C.

Sedatives and sleep aids: Increased risk of drowsiness and confusion. Antihistamines: Amplified side effects, such as dry mouth and lethargy. Tricyclic antidepressants: Enhanced sedative effects. Blood pressure medications: Potential slowing of heart rate.
Allergy or hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine. Glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye). Prostate enlargement or intestinal obstruction/bladder blockage. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Hyperthyroidism or high blood pressure. Severe cardiovascular diseases.
Drowsiness: The animal may appear lethargic. Dry mouth: Reduced saliva production. Urinary retention.
