Drontal Plus® may interact with diethylcarbamazine, levamisole, morantel, organophosphates, or piperazine.
Drontal is generally safe for dogs, but here are some important contraindications: Hypersensitivity: Do not use if the animal is allergic to any active ingredients or excipients. Pregnancy: Avoid administering during the first and second thirds of gestation. Weight Restrictions: Not recommended for dogs weighing less than 2 kg. Specific Conditions: Consult a veterinarian for dogs with underlying health issues.
This medication can, rarely, cause vomiting.
This medication can be administered alone or with a small amount of food.
The tablets can be crushed or placed intact in canned food if it is not possible to give them directly into the animal’s mouth.
