Metacam® (meloxicam) controls pain and inflammation in small animals, especially after injuries or surgeries. Administer this medication only under veterinary advice, particularly if the animal is under 6 months old or suffers from kidney, liver, heart, or coagulation disorders. Monitor digestive side effects such as vomiting or diarrhea. Consult a veterinarian immediately in case of severe reactions. Mix the liquid solution before use and keep it out of reach of children and animals. For prolonged use, veterinary follow-ups are recommended to minimize risks.

Contraindications

Metacam® (meloxicam) is contraindicated for animals under 6 months of age or those with liver, heart, kidney, coagulation disorders, ulcers, or bleeding issues. Its use must always be approved by a veterinarian.

Side effects
