Oridermyl® is an ear ointment that treats ear mites and infections in cats while requiring veterinary follow-up.
Form
Oridermyl® is an ear ointment that treats ear mites and bacterial or yeast infections in cats. Its ingredients, including permethrin, nystatin, triamcinolone, and neomycin, effectively combat these conditions. This product is not suitable for kittens under 8 weeks old, animals allergic to its components, or those with a perforated eardrum. It may cause irritation in the ear canals. Follow-up ensures the infection is completely eliminated. Store the ointment between 15°C and 25°C, out of children’s reach. Consult a veterinarian if severe reactions occur.
Room temperature
Ensure that symptoms completely disappear after treatment.
Oridermyl® may interact with certain antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory medications.
Oridermyl® should not be used in kittens under 8 weeks old, those weighing less than 1 kg, or animals allergic to its components. It is also contraindicated in cases of perforated eardrum unless otherwise advised by a veterinarian. Always consult a professional before administration.
Oridermyl® may cause irritation in the ear canals after application. If redness, increased discomfort, or behavioral changes (head tilting, loss of balance) occur, it is recommended to stop the treatment and consult a veterinarian.
Do not apply if the animal’s eardrum is perforated or if it has an allergy to any of the components.
