Form
Isaderm® is a topical gel combining an antibiotic (fusidic acid) and a glucocorticosteroid (betamethasone). It is used to treat superficial bacterial skin infections in dogs while controlling inflammation. This gel should not be applied to animals allergic to its components or to pregnant females. It is not suitable for deep skin infections. Betamethasone may cause local thinning of the skin. Consult a veterinarian if symptoms persist or worsen. Keep the product out of reach of animals and apply it according to recommendations.

Monitoring results: Check if the infection and inflammation decrease after a few days of application.
Veterinary consultation: Consult a veterinarian if symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days.
Side effects monitoring: Watch for any signs of irritation, redness, or abnormal skin reactions.
Treatment duration adherence: Apply the gel for the entire prescribed period, even if symptoms seem to disappear.
May reduce the effectiveness of certain antibiotics if used simultaneously. Glucocorticoids in the gel may increase side effects when combined with other corticosteroids. Possible interactions with immunosuppressive medications. Risk of unexpected reactions with certain antifungal or antiviral drugs.
Animals allergic to its components. Pregnant females, unless otherwise advised by the veterinarian. Do not use Isaderm® to treat deep skin infections.
Thinning of the skin locally. Delay in wound healing (in case of excessive dosage). Irritation or redness at the application site. Burning sensation if the gel comes into contact with the eyes.
It is important to apply the gel for the entire period prescribed by the veterinarian.
Do not apply the gel to the animal’s eyes, as it may cause a burning sensation. If this happens, rinse the eyes thoroughly with water.
The animal must not ingest the product, so it is essential to prevent them from licking the treated area.
Wash your hands thoroughly after handling the product.
